Upgrading Yourself
A life of meaning, joy and purpose is yours to claim.
This act requires actions of self-analysis, self-improvement, and evolved expressions of creative free will.
A process of upgrading yourself.
Meliora Meditation has been designed to speed up and improve this process, but the ignition spark comes from you.
In simple terms, Meliora has the effect of a decade of high-quality life coaching or therapy combined with a get-off-your-ass pill.
Self-understanding combined with self-motivation.

Fear
“You know what everyone’s greatest fear is? It is that all the dreams we have, all the crazy ideas and aspirations, all the impossible romantic longings and utopian visions can come true, that the world can grant our wishes.
People spend their lives doing everything in their power to fend off that possibility: they beat themselves up with every kind of insecurity, sabotage their own efforts, undermine love affairs and cry sour grapes before the world even has a chance to defeat them.
Because no weight could be heavier to bear than the possibility that everything we want is possible.”
― Crimethinc ‘Days of War, Nights of Love’

Cattlesong
Our society is adept at creating systems that weaken people’s internal drives for meaningful, impactful, human-centered work.
It is a cattlesong.
We're asked us to accept compromise after compromise, until our work becomes a bullshit job.
Many people are inspired by this, and create their own bullshit jobs through startups and foundations and institutions that perpetually fail to solve the problems they were created to address.

Revolutionary Acts
The most revolutionary act isn’t political dissent, or battles in the public square over culture.
The most revolutionary act is maintaining a strong faith and/or ethics in a world that rewards and celebrates the opposite.
The most powerful revolution is always internal.
No one can destroy your core of moral and ethical decency, only you can do that to yourself.
No one can turn your dreams into cattlesong except for you.

Doing
Fear, hesitation, self-doubt, and the lure of cattlesong have no place to grow when you’re busy doing.
Climb a mountain, build a house, start a business, tinker around in the workshop until you come up with a cool idea. It’s what your ancestors would have done.
Your heart can’t be tamed or become subordinate to another person's vision for how you should live in the world.
The solution is to do, to overcome challenges and obstacles and act in accordance with your heart.
You’ll know you’ve arrived when you stop thinking so much about what to do, and just go out and do it.

The Song of the Heart
“It’s hard to hear this call of instinct today, because you’re taught to distrust it. Abandoning yourself to instinct, once one has a discipline and practice through the body, a man can pass over a chasm on a tightrope with a sure step:”
-- Bronze Age Pervert, 'Bronze Age Mindset'
